Every new member that wants to start working out regularly is encouraged to make a FREE appointment for a fitness assessment with one of our fitness instructors.

This involves a one to one session with an instructor, taking basic measurements, doing a cardiovascular test of fitness and setting some personal goals and targets.

Some measurements that may be taken include:

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Body Mass Index
  • Body Fat
  • Flexibility
  • Grip Strength
  • Peak Flow
  • Blood Pressure
  • Resting Heart Rate

All of this confidential information is then used by you and your instructor to design a personal exercise program - geared towards you achieving those goals! The information is stored in the Fitronics computerised system, ready for you to to access on each visit.

All gym members are encouraged to log their visit on the fitronics system - so that in 6 or 8 weeks time, you and your instructor can measure how your personal exercise program is working for you, make changes, progess exercise to keep pushing the body and to help set new goals along the way!
