ALSAA has a busy schedule of energetic fitness classes to get you motivated! Whatever your passion, our schedule of classes is sure to have somehting for you. You can download your own copy of our timetable of fitness classes on the "Get Fit" page but to give you a taste, here is a description of our most popuar classes;
40 Minute Fit - this is a toning based fitness class in the fitness suite specifically designed to increase strength as well as working on cardio and calorie burning!This class is suitable for all levels of fitness! The 30 Minute Fit class is a shorter version of this fitness class - ideal for a lunch time work out!
Pure Spin - this class will leave you feeling energised and upbeat! You will work hard for a solid 45 minutes and will be sure to burn plenty of calories - great for getting the heart pumping! This is also a great fitness class for detoxing your body after a tough weekend, or an indulgent holiday!
Aquafit - this class is based in the Water Suite and is a total body workout! Because it is in the water, theree will be less pressure on your joints and so is a perfect fitness class for anyone recovering from injury or anyone who is easing themselves back into a fitness routine. Dont' be fooled however, you will work hard for the session!
Ab Attack - this 15 minute class will literally attack your abs! It includes a variety of core exercises and is a great way to add a little kick to your workout!
Step Aerobics - this traditional fitness class is a firm favourite with members and will certainly get you moving! A great way to combine losing pounds with toning up!
Pump & Sculpt - this fitness class is not for the faint-hearted! It is an intense workout where our instructor will lead you through a series of resistance exercises to increase muscle tone and strength! Ideal for those who have attended before or who have been attending the 40 minute fit class and need to progress!
1/2 Hour Power - start the day the best way - with a 30 minute endurance class! You wont want to take the stairs in work after doing this class on a Thursday morning!
Spin & Sculpt - One hour long, this combo gives you the best of both worlds! If you have been doing Pure Spin and want to add a little something then challenge yourself to this class!
30 Minute BLT - Bums, Legs & Tums - tells you everything you need to know! Perfect to squeeze in at lunchtime with great benefits if you work hard!
