Swimming Pool
The long established 25 metre swimming pool at ALSAA is located at the main airport terminus. Here, ALSAA dedicates the facility to children and adult swimming lessons, swimming clubs and members swim times.
A monthly schedule is in place which allocates times to all swim clubs and lessons but which also builds in lane swims, lifesaving classes, lifeguard training and open swim hours.
Adjacent to the main pool arena is a gym and weights rooms as well as a sauna and steamroom. Sunbeds are available at the pool complex.
Changing facilities at the main pool are geared towards family swim time. There are separate adult male and female rooms as well as a dedicated family changing room for those with smaller children.
Opening Hours
The swimming pool is open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to 9pm Saturday and Sunday.
** NEWS ** From Monday 6th September 2010 the pool will be open at 7am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday! It will be an open swim and is ideal for anyone who fancies a swim before work! Start your day the right way! Every Wednesday 7-8am will be reserved for the Aer Lingus Masters Swim club who welcome all new members! Coaching avaiable at these sessions. Water Suite
Located at the main complex is an adult only swimming pool. Measuring 8 metres long, this pool is ideal for the leisure swimmer and is open 7 days. Also in this wing is a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
Opening Hours
The water suite is open from 7.30am to 10pm Monday to Friday and from 9.30am to 9pm Saturday and Sunday.
Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons for children aged 4 years old recommence next Monday 6th September! Lessons will take place Monday right through to Saturday at various times! Lessons are open to members and non members and run for a 10 week term.
