Last weekend was a very exciting and special one for the Alsaa Swim Club! We had our first competition with 3 swimmers (Geny, Lory and Aoibheann) entered in the Leinster Long Course Qualifying Meet. Our girls did really well and we got back home with 4 Personal Best Times, 3 National Division 2 qualifying times, two swimmers qualified for Irish National Division 2, which will be held in Limerick in July, but more importantly great attitude, good swims and lots of smiles! Well done girls for breaking the ice and setting the standards, and this is just the beginning. We have now officially entered the Irish swimming scene with our new Club! These girls are a great and positive example for all our young and new swimmers to follow. An inspiration for all our swimmers to keep working in the right direction and with the right attitude and discipline.
Now we are all looking forward to our next competition!!!
